FASHION|| 100 DAYS OF ANKARA

Hi people,

April and May has been a whole lot. From school to friends to planning to people disappointing me, I thank God for his strength and for the grace to push and to forgive.

I missed you guys plenty. Like a whole lot!

If you follow me on social media, you’ll see that I started a 100 day Ankara challenge yeah. Trust me it hasn’t been easy. People think it’s easy to just wake up and cook something up. It’s a whole lot of work especially with the weather here.

Why did I start the challenge you ask?

I was inspired by my friend, Marv. I bet she doesn’t know this. I was thinking of a way to brand myself as a person in fashion when  I got to school and I didn’t know how because I would be wrapped up in so many layers of clothing and there would be no way to show my creativity(cray-DVD)lol!

So she started a 1000 days of poetry, that’s a lot and so far so good, she’s been doing well. I just borrowed a leaf and reduced mine to a 100 days of Ankara(I can’t do 1000 yet)

I ‘ve been asked this so many times and people are like when you’re done, what’s going to happen? It’s not like there’s a grand reward waiting for me but I just did this to push and test my creative limits and improve my styling prowess. Trust me, they’ve gone up a lot. With cooking up Ankara styles just before class and making sure it works even when there was no prior plan for it. I would say I have gained some form of experience and I truly deserve some ACCOLADES( if you don’t know what that means, please go to Youtube and type in “I deserve some accolades”)
